Let us take your senses on a journey through the manufacture of different types of tea whilst we explain the differences between loose and tea bag varieties. We’ll get you tasting and hope to tempt you to explore a wider selection of teas whilst having fun!

It is an exciting time to be interested in photography, and experienced photographer Ian Collins will be helping a select few get more out of their camera by taking the mystery out of taking great photographs.

He will be untangling the confusing concepts and terminology and get down to specific tips on how to take and share great photographs with your camera.

From compacts to DSLRs, find out how to get the best photographs first time every time.

Once Upon a Tree:

Once Upon a Tree produce cider, perry and juice from the fruit grown at Dragon Orchard, in the heart of cider-country at Putley. Visit over the Easter weekend to enjoy tastings in our shop, including our new cider and perry chocolates, walk and picnic around the beautiful orchards, and see demonstrations and work from local artists. Come on Easter Saturday for additional fun for children, with lots of apple-related activities, and an easter hunt around the orchard.

The Timber Store Gallery:

Situated on a working farm, our gallery showcases furniture made in the adjoining workshop, along with selected beautiful and practical objects and art from both Herefordshire and throughout the U.K. Over the Easter weekend, in addition to some new contributors to the gallery, to welcome the arrival of spring we have asked a number of exhibitors to create pieces with the garden and outdoors in mind.

Stuart Houghton Pottery:

“Almost without exception potters are good cooks” comments Stuart Houghton. Potting is rather like cooking. Choose the right ingredients, keep it simple and be generous. Stuart’s hand thrown, high fired porcelain bowls, platters, jugs and mugs get the recipe right; simple, strong and a joy to handle straight from oven to table.

Fancy sprucing up your kitchen collection and sorting out those crammed shelves? If so, why not come along to an evening event at Trumpet Corner to stock up on Jamie Oliver’s latest homeware range.

The Jamie collection has a whole host of stunningly crafted products from classic oak chopping boards, beautiful bakeware essentials and designer dinner plates brought to you by local Jamie Consultant Rachel Freestone.

Since launching in March 2009, Jamie at Home has gone from strength-to-strength after the company was born out of Jamie’s passion for bringing people together and getting people into the kitchen alongside his love of beautiful products.

A selection of drinks and homemade cakes will be available to purchase from the tea room along with the fantastic range of Jamie Oliver products.

Happy new year from all of us at Trumpet Corner!

We’re excited to announce our first exhibition of 2012 – Ed Eliott’s Pieces of an Angel.

An exhibition of drawing and sculpture in celebration of the National Trust Angel Commission 2011. Ed Elliott was one of eight artists selected to create work for the Angel Garden Sculpture Trail which opened in December 2011 at the prestigious Mottisfont Estate in Hampshire. Trumpet Corner is hosting a solo exhibition of Ed Elliott’s recent work showing the exploration into tensions held within the concept of the angel. There are also fantastic images of the work in situe on display and a ‘work in progress’ film made by the artist.

The exhibition will be on site from 14th – 31st January.

On the first weekend of December, we will be teaming up with other local art studios and galleries for our first Trumpet Art Trail!

The Timber Store and the Stuart Houghton Pottery will be taking part alongside Trumpet Corner. More details on further guest artists to follow soon.
